TOLEDO IS AWESOME!

Toledo is known as "The Imperial City" for having been the main seat of the court of Charles I and also as "the city of the three cultures" because it has been populated for centuries by Christians, Jews and Muslims.

To know Toledo is to travel in time.

A unique city, with more than 2,000 years of history and symbol of encounter between cultures. Its old town is precisely a reflection of this spirit: churches and buildings of the most varied styles - Arabic, Mudejar, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, forming an impressive architectural ensemble.

You will be able to access the historical center by the numerous doors that open in the wall that surrounds it like the Puerta del Sol, the one of Alcántara or the one of the Bisagra. During your visit to the old city center, do not miss the Cathedral, an extraordinary work that is worth devoting time: the Mudejar decoration, the choir stalls, the rejería works, the sacristy - a real museum of painting with paintings by authors such as El Greco, Rafael, Tiziano or Goya, or the Treasury Room where the fabulous Custody of gold and silver that goes in procession during the celebrations of Corpus Christi are exposed, are part of its most outstanding elements.

The historic complex of Toledo is considered the largest in Spain.

Toledo can boast of being the jewel of the crown of the country, since according to the list of the world organization, the monumental ensemble that received the title in 1986 has an extension of 260 hectares, that is to say, 2.6 square kilometers, that encompass all the intramural area, besides the banks of the Tagus that border the hull, and part of the Covachuelas.

Getting lost in the streets of Toledo is a real treat.
